This annual tradition is kicked off with a bridge lighting ceremony when residents come together at the Sherman Canal footbridge.
Join in the festivities on Saturday, December 4th from 5 to 7pm.
The community gathers to celebrate the season by sharing their favorite appetizers and desserts along with hot chocolate, hot cider, and mulled wine. Many people also take the opportunity to give back by donating a wrapped toy or other gift to the Venice Community Housing Corporation.
The VCHC has helped foster a sense of community in Venice Beach for 23 years by supporting a wide range of services including the Venice Family Clinic, Community Works for Kids, Infant/Toddler Development Center, Youth Build, Another Chance and many others.
Will you be attending the Twilight Bridge Lighting? Do you know of any other celebrations in Venice that people need to check out? Please help spread the holiday cheer and leave your comment below.
