Don’t miss Santa Monica’s 7th Annual Fourth of July Parade. This is an annual Independence Day celebration and the event kicks-off in front of the Civic Center and proceeds down Main St. in Venice. There will be live music until noon at the Ocean View Park after the parade.
For the 4thof July fireworks enthusiasts, there will be professional fireworks in Marina del Rey, Culver City and Pacific Palisades. The traditional fireworks extravaganza over the Marina Harbor takes place at 9PM. The event will be sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors and some community supporters. The Culver City High School will have their fireworks at 9PM and gates will open at 5PM. Palisades Charter High will have their fireworks at 9PM with entertainment starting at 6:30PM.
Guests are advised to arrive early at the events as parking will likely be a hassle.
And finally, does anyone really need to be reminded to refrain from using fireworks? Injuries and fires can endanger the lives of many. Be safe, smart and have a happy 4th of July!
