Hundreds of kids and even young adults had spooky fun during the 3rd Annual Halloween Hop on Montana Avenue last Wednesday Oct. 31st 3-6PM. Chic boutiques, shops and offices were all fully decorated for this wonderful event. Throngs of trick-or-treaters with their scary costumes and families converged on Montana Avenue. At times, it bordered on pandemonium. Most shops had run out of treats well before 5PM.
Pence Hathorn Silver and Partners Trust was swamped with curious kids and adults and I have to admit I had a lot of fun dressed as Guns and Roses former guitarist “Slash” (the Marlboros and Jack Daniels (diet coke) were part of the costume, I swear). We were wise to have on hand a whopping 112 pounds of candy to hand out and there was none left by the time we finally locked up at 7PM.
