As we close out another year here on the Westside I like to take a look back at where the market has been over the last 5 years. The journey is impressive. Our median sales price has gone up over 50% and is currently $3,550,000! The highest sales price has more than doubled and homes are selling, on average, in less than half the time it took back in 2011.
New Listing this week –
509 17th Street– 4 bedrooms + 4 bathrooms. $3,680,000. Livable 1920’s Spanish. Last sold in April 2012 for $2,500,000.
364 21st Street– 4 bedrooms + 3 baths. $3,250,000. Back on the Market after falling out of escrow! This was suspected to have sold before it even hit the MLS and it looks like it is available again- probably just for a short time. Triple “A” prime location but certainly will be difficult to obtain a demo permit.
