With the Boy Scouts of America’s Troop 2 Christmas Tree lot open for business and the annual Night on Montana Avenue taking place this Friday night, it is hard not to get into the Christmas spirit.

The Christmas tree lot is one of the main fundraisers for the Boy Scouts Troop 2 and has been in the same location (1515 Montana Avenue) for well over 20 years. Folks from Santa Monica, Brentwood and even Pacific Palisades have been able to buy fresh Christmas trees and receive delivery and set up at prices that are as competitive as any other lot on the Westside.

The Night on Montana has been a neighborhood tradition for as many years and is a favorite of residents young and old. Here are some of the exciting things to look forward to this Friday night:

  • Shops and restaurants will stay open till 9:00 PM on this special night.
  • Most shops will offer discounts while others will be handing out free samples.
  • Live music- In the past, String quartets, jazz bands, Christmas Carolers and even some rock bands have performed.

Come early for the best parking and dress warm.
