Congratulations are in order for our city: Santa Monica was named the #7 beach city in the world by National Geographic! Quite the honor considering we are listed alongside Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town and Miami.
On Monday Feb 28th, 2011 the new logo and slogan for our “progressive” beach town was revealed: “California’s most celebrated beach city.” Along with the fresh new logo, a compiled list of over 75 awards and accolades we have received over the last year was presented.
Did you know Santa Monicas’s Farmer’s Market was named 5th Best in America by Travel and Leisure magazine? How about GQ’s burger of the year? That title goes to Umami! I must say, I still believe Father’s Office delivers a pretty perfect burger. Although the fact that it is just three blocks from our Montana Avenue office may make me a little biased.
How do you feel about the new logo and slogan? I am excited about our new campaign and logo. More visitors means a prosperous city!
