Groundworks is now Bardonna! The original owner relaunched his popular coffee house as a way to introduce more food options and a new coffee supplier.

The restaurant is named after the owner’s wife, Donna. Located on Montana Avenue, several other locations have switched to the new menu and name across Southern California.

Recent expansion now includes additional seating for diners. You may remember this was previously the sneaker store, Kicks.

A full menu includes a variety of breakfast items such as omelets, bagels & lox, and granola. Grab a kale salad, sandwich or an umami rice bowl for lunch or dinner. Also available are fresh pressed juices.

Fresh baked pastries, cookies, coffee cake, and muffins. Try a slice of these amazing four-layered cakes, I recommend the lemon meringue and red velvet.

Order a delicious latte made with organic coffee from the award winning Klatch Coffee Co. You can purchase a bag of coffee to brew at home!

Notice the pink salt? Those are actually salt candle holders.

Gourmet items available for purchase, from pasta to chocolate, try the truffle salt, truffle honey and truffle sauce.

It is warming up outside, order a fresh muddled iced tea.

A delicious treat! Iced green tea with muddled pineapple and basil with a lovely marigold for garnish!
