Hard to believe  it’s only January, with the temps heating up and several noteworthy events happening around the city the year feels like it’s already in full swing.

Friday is the opening of the famed Cirque de Soleil, TotemThe much anticipated event takes place in Santa Monica inside the Big Top right on the sand. Amazing acrobatics and costumes, tell the story of the connection between humans and other species. The show has already received rave reviews.

Get your appetite ready, next week is Dine LA! Take advantage of the many fabulous local Santa Monica restaurants with amazing lunch and dinner specials. Everything from oysters at Blue Plate Oysterette, enchiladas at El Cholo or indulge in the black truffle risotto, at Melisse.
