You may already be aware that Montana Avenue is a great place to stroll, shop and or dine. Most people who are not from the Los Angeles area are not aware of this mellow yet sophisticated street, which makes it so much more appealing. It is a small town community littered with locals. It’s fun running into “the usual suspects” most mornings; walking their dogs or moms dropping off kids at Circle, some of them clients, who sometimes stop by my office for a quick hello. This street is a little on the expensive side but we have everything here; award winning bakeries, coffee shops, yoga studios, fashion boutiques, delicious restaurants, celebrities, and of course real estate. Not to mention the close proximately to Ocean Avenue’s Palisades Park, which is the perfect destination to watch the sunrise or sunset. Throughout out the year, our Merchant’s Association hosts several events for the neighborhood, welcoming others from different communities; The Side Walk Sale, Art Walk, Halloween Hop and the Holiday Walk are very successful annual happenings. The three nearby public schools are phenomenal and help make our real estate extremely desirable. North of Montana Santa Monica 530 17th St

Did you know that there was a mortuary on Montana 20 years ago?  And several gas stations 30 years ago? And that cars were parked diagonally, with no parking meters along Montana for many years?

There are fourteen homes available to buy North of Montana Ave.  530 17th St and 1036 San Vicente just came on the MLS today (Valentine’s day). 227 25th St. came on a few days back, sold immediately but fell out of escrow today.  There are seven homes in escrow with 549 9th St. and 1201 San Vicente going under contract in the last few days. Year-to-date, five homes closed so far this year up from four last week with 601 19th St. closing.
