Our office had a blast last Friday night here on Montana Ave. Ours was the most popular party on the street. Thank you to all our friends, clients and colleagues that attended. If you missed the party, go to our facebook page, I have lots of candid shots from the evening. Our party always get me in the Christmas spirit. Since it’s always held on the 1st Friday of December, it coincides with many Holiday Season events going on around Santa Monica.
Here are few of my faves. Wear your old ugly sweaters to the Santa Monica Pub Crawl to raise money for the Westside Food Bank. This annual event is this Saturday at 5pm. Tickets are $10 and you can choose one of four designated routes for the evening.
At Santa Monica Place on December 16th from 5pm-8pm you are invited to take a photo with Santa along with your “furry friend” and proceeds go to the Best Friends Animal Society. In fact, you can earn bonus points for your school with all your purchases at the mall, just bring your receipt to the concierge.

Only one new listing this week and it is an interesting one. It is 1201 San Vicente and was purchased three months ago for $2,175,000 and is fluffed up now and back on at $2,595,000. The total number of homes available on the MLS is 16 and there are another five or six that are being shown “quietly” (not in the MLS). There was only one new sale reported to the MLS this week, bringing the total to six homes in escrow. No new closings recorded this week and the YTD total closed remains 75.
