16 offers were submitted for a property at 610 18th Street last week. 15 losers are not happy with the outcome. In fact ½ of them think that something nefarious went on in the negotiations as no counter offers were made by the Sellers. The prevailing Buyer’s offer was “so good that if it closes as written, it will be clear to everyone why the Seller accepted the offer without countering the other buyers”. The asking price was $3,295,000 which would have been the value 6-10 months ago but now with 7,500 foot lots selling for $3 million, Gillette’s 60’ wide lots should be at least $3.5 million.
