It’s that time of year; Dine LA is in full swing kicking off from January 19th –February 1st. This is a great way to try out new restaurants in the area with incredible lunch and dinner prices and various types of cuisine to choose from. I have a few local suggestions if you’re having a tough time deciding where to dine.
Check out the Water Grill, delicious three course menu including clam chowder, mixed greens, wild Costa Rican Mahi Mahi, Swordfish or grilled chicken with cous cous.
How about The Little Door? Formerly Valetta, and 90402 neighbors on 26th, this quaint French restaurant offers exquisite entrees including roasted chicken breast with black truffle sauce, faro risotto or loup de mer stuffed with crab meat. Not to mention amazing chocolate molten and pistachio cheesecake.
The extremely popular Sugarfish has an assortment of fresh sushi and hand rolls including an edamame starter.
Sugarfish is a little expensive and there is always a wait at peak times but it’s one of my favorite places to eat and is consistently great.
A Santa Monica favorite Taco and Oysterette each offer a three course menu with various choices. I seem to recall hearing from someone recently that Blue Plate was opening a 4th restaurant somewhere near here soon. Have you heard anything?
