My girlfriend and I just got back from a weeklong stay in Paradise also known as Anguilla.
We stayed on Maundays Bay at Hotel Cap Juluca.
It was nothing short of heaven on earth.
The hotel ran all the way down the sandy white bay.
Every meal came with a view.
Every morning I got a fresh coconut delivered to my door.
And enjoyed the daily High Tea at the hotel.
We also took an excursion to West Shoal Bay where everything was so lush.
The bay was also lined with beautiful villas for rent on West Shoal Bay.
And caught the sunsets at Road Bay.
Cheering to another perfect tropical night in paradise.
The view from our beach. One morning we took the ferry out to Scilly Cay.
Twice a week Scilly Cay serves up a seafood lover’s dream.
This little piece of heaven also comes sans electricity.
Work up your appetite by dancing to the local band.
This lobster was nothing short of divine.
We also happened to be in Anguilla while they hosted the biggest Caribbean festival of the year.
There was plenty of action, day and night.
Even though the beaches were buzzing with tourists and locals, they stayed pristine.
I also became a temporary fashion blogger. I kid.
One of my favorite staples was Peter the Parrot who popped in for breakfast every morning.
Oh just enjoying a fresh coconut in my hotel room.
Ending the evenings with this view wasn’t bad either.
And there was never a dull moment with the festival going on at Road Bay and Sandy Ground.
Gearing up for another lovely evening at Spice Lounge.
We also zipped up to St Martin to explore.
And shopped at French boutiques.
The bay was easy on the eyes.
The sand was white and the sea was baby blue.
The view went on for days…
We soaked up all the sun and made new friends.
Our farewell dinner, but not for long because we’ll return.
