Last Sunday the City of Santa Monica celebrated the Grand opening of the new Metro by closing down 2 beachy miles and turning the city into a park for the day. 
It allowed the residents of LA to experience local food, music shops, and culture with their family and friends.
Brett, John & Charles went to go check it out for themselves.
Even Bernie Sanders made an appearance before the Presidential Primaries.
Shann took Grayson to the Santa Monica Public Library to play with the other kids.
Fun was had by all.
It brought out all kinds of people.
Interesting art was also displayed. This car was completely made of cardboard.
Hopefully this new addition to Santa Monica will add enjoyment and convenience to all the residents.
