On Saturday I took my girlfriends to check out the new Herringbone off Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.

Herringbone is where Chef Brian Malarkey introduces the “Fish Meats Field” Culinary concept.

All of their locations not only serve up meat and seafood, but the full experience.

They also serve up a daily happy hour with $1 oyster from 4:30-6:30 pm.

Their Seafood bites including everything from Mussels Tikka Masala to Buffalo Ranch Octopus.

My girlfriend and I started our experience tasting their creative craft cocktails made from local fresh, and seasonal ingredients.

The décor all around is absolutely whimsical.

I couldn’t get enough of this puffer fish tree.

The other Herringbone locations are at the Mondrian Hotel on Sunset, La Jolla, and Las Vegas.

It’s definitely deemed one of the hottest new restaurants on the scene for a reason.
