In honor of the beginning of fall and National Coffee day we dedicated this week to finding the best “seasonal” caffeinated beverage on Montana. Due to the unexpected heatwave we had to put our drinks on ice.
We started with the Pumpkin Latte at Peets.
We added some fresh ground nutmeg for garnishings.
And took it for a stroll – we’re big fans. Cost – $3.80.
Next we popped into Starbucks for their fall recommendation on ice.
We walked out with their Pumpkin Spice latte – a little less decadent than Peets, definitely more heavy on the caffeine fix. Cost – $3.85.
Next stop was Groundworks to check out their brand new drinks menu.
We ordered the Chocolate Expresso with Egg Crème and were not disappointed.
For $4, this was money well spent.
Then we charged on to Primo Passo. They carry everything from nitro cold brew to Kombucha on tap to a selection of rotating iced teas.
They recommended their Cinnamon Plum Iced Tea as their fall favorite. If you’re not a fan of coffee – this one’s for you with a hard to beat price of $3.00.
Last stop on the tour was Café Luxxe.
We ordered the Cappucino, Nico style. This means – espresso, foam, candied orange, half & half and a sprinkle of cinnamon, topped with a pretty design.
This little cup o’heaven came in at $4.50. Overall – we have no complaints of the assortment of fall beverages provided on Montana Avenue. Hopefully we’ll be able to sleep by Monday 😉
