Come ring in the holidays Venetian style with an event truly unique to our wonderfully eclectic community: the Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade.
Every year, we gather on our famed Venice Canals to watch and cheer the beautifully creative and crazy boats parade up and down the canals all decked out for the holidays. Friends, family and neighbors all celebrate the season in a manner truly unique to Venice.
Rarely can you find a place where such an eclectic, creative and fun group of people live, so rarely can you experience anything quite like the Holiday Boat Parade on the Venice Canals. There will be prizes for the “Best Decorated Boat,” “Best Lit Boat,” as well as for the “Best Dressed Homes & Bridges.” So boats, bridges, homes, friends, and neighbors all help create a wonderfully festive holiday atmosphere.
The 30th Annual Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade will be this Sunday, December 11th starting at 4pm at the corner of Eastern and Sherman Canals. As the sun sets, walk the canals and enjoy all the festively lit homes and bridges and let the magic of the season lift your spirits.
