Santa Monica Mid Summer Dirt

Are you going to see RÜFÜS DU SOL perform this summer at the Santa Monica Pier? Every Thursday evening through September 9th! Bring a blanket for the beach, and if you plan to drive, bring a lot of patience. Traffic has been a bear. In fact, I suggest parking in the neighborhood around Colorado and 17th and taking the train down to the 4th Street stop, or better yet, UBER.

The Montana Avenue annual ArtWalk is next Thursday, July 21st. It’ll be another year of live music, and lots of talent on Montana Ave. Stop by our office for a glass of wine and some great art from 5-9 pm. We’re on the corner of Montana + 14th.

Addicted? To Pokemon Go? There’s a new meeting point right here in Santa Monica. Massive crowds have been gathering at the Santa Monica Pier in hopes to catch Pikachu and the gang. Keep your eyes on the road as virtual hunters are prone to wander into traffic while glued to their iphone.

Olympic Dirt Another event on our horizon may just be the 2024 Summer Olympics. Santa Monica is being considered as a host for the beach volleyball event while the majority of the sports would be held in Downtown LA. Other cities that are in the running to host are Budapest, Paris, & Rome.

Picnic on Third Street Need a quick break from the office? Stop by the Promenade and soak up some Vitamin D during Summer Fridays. 3rd Street offers music, ping-pong, interactive challenges and more from noon to 3pm.
